Track/Trace

All nanomaterials sourced via this portal are tracked/traced in real-time in accordance with the downstream audit sequencing (DAS) methodology operated by INSCX since 2012. DAS is designed to offer regulation agencies and the insurance industry greater ability to monitor the lifecycle of a nanomaterial from source.

The Downstream Audit Sequencing methodology now proven is to be extended and made online for all nanomaterial producers to report trade irrespective of whether they choose to place their actual trade through the formal exchange system. This methodology will offer nanoproducers a global trade reporting mechanism capable of meeting the disclosure requirements sought by official regulation agencies and the regulated insurance sector while safeguarding essential confidences required in a commercial context.
