Description
HYGIENIA TOUCH (Textile), a clean label technology, EU-ECO accredited, specifically designed to help companies remain ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic by making textile and fabric surfaces impervious to bacteria and viruses. The product is an advanced water-based hygiene aid; a microbiota barrier shield, designed to protect soft absorbent materials (textiles & fabric) from bacterial, viral, or fungal adhesion and thus propagation.
This defence screen helps reduce risk of pathogenic cross-contamination and disease for six months, or up to 20 wash cycles depending on fabric type.
The mode of action is simple, eco-friendly, and biocide-free.
METHOD:
HygieniaTouch is an ecological, spray-on, air-drying application, whereby once applied and over a 24-hour polymerization process, every fiber exposed to the coating will acquire a hydrophobic and high repellence status. This new microscopically invisible shield makes life exceedingly difficult and hostile for germs and viruses as they now have major challenges anchoring, feeding, or propagating on the fabric surface. Effectively, we create a bacteria-static and safer environment. Product is dermatologically tested (2020) with a rating of “Excellent” in accordance with international guidelines.

Additionally, HygieniaTouch will enable faster cleaning cycles, less water usage, less aggressive chemical usage whilst protecting the aesthetic quality of the coated materials from micro- scratch damage, stains, and discoloration.
The product is supplied ready-to-use in 500ml spray bottles.
USES:
For use on textiles and fabrics such as furnishings, carpets, bedding. Suitable for other fabrics including face masks and other PPE. Can also be used to treat absorbent surfaces such as stone, soft wood, marble and granite.
DURATION:
Coatings once applied to textiles are effective for up to 20 wash cycles @ 40c
APPLICATION / SPRAYING:
- The product is ready to use.
- Shake well before spraying.
- Uniform spraying on the surface to be treated: The fibres should be saturated by the liquid but not soaked.
- Amount required depends on type of fabric (natural / artificial) and colour. Average application coverage 10-12ml per square meter.
- Dry fabric / surface at room temperature.
